Home > Face Plasty > Dance Instructor’s Smooth Thighs for Performances! 28-Year-
A 28-year-old lady from Zhuhai visited HANFEI Plastic Surgery Hospital for thigh liposuction, frustrated by the stubborn fat on her inner and outer thighs that hindered her dance movements. As a professional contemporary dance instructor, she performed on stage monthly and needed to wear form-fitting dancewear—but the “saddle bag” fat on her outer thighs made her leotards look uneven, and the inner thigh bulge caused friction during quick spins and jumps. She wanted a smooth, toned thigh contour that would let her move freely and look polished on stage, without any visible scars.
After a detailed assessment, I found her outer thigh fat layer was about 1.7cm thick, and the inner thighs had a localized fat deposit that pressed against each other when she danced. We used a minimally invasive liposuction technique with 2mm micro-incisions—hidden in the groin crease and upper outer thigh fold to avoid being seen in dancewear. We focused on layered fat extraction to preserve the subcutaneous fat layer, which keeps the skin elastic and prevents sagging during intense dance routines. The surgery took around 1 hour and 30 minutes, and she was able to practice basic dance steps the next day, though she avoided high-intensity performances for two weeks.
By the end of the first month, the swelling had completely subsided, and her thighs looked sleek and symmetrical. The “saddle bags” were gone, and the inner thigh friction disappeared, making spins and jumps more comfortable. She sent me a video of her stage performance in a black leotard, saying, “I finally feel confident on stage! The audience praised my dance moves, and no one noticed I had liposuction.” She added that her dancewear now fits perfectly, and she no longer has to adjust her clothes mid-performance.
