What is Acne Scar?
Acne scars are usually the result of inflamed blemishes caused by skin pores engorged with excess oil, dead skin cells and bacteria. The pore swells, causing a break in the follicle wall. Shallow lesions are usually minor and heal quickly. But if there is a deep break in the wall of the pore, infected material can spill out into surrounding tissue, creating deeper lesions.

What lead to Acne Scar?

About Acne
Acne is more severe in some people than in others. Doctors distinguish between mild, moderate and severe forms of acne. There are also inflammatory and non-inflammatory types of acne. Non-inflammatory acne is a milder type, which most people would refer to as "pimples" or "blackheads" rather than "acne."

Unlike normal pimples, acne develops over a longer period of time and stays longer. It sometimes leaves small red marks or scars behind. "Normal" pimples usually form quickly and then disappear again soon afterwards.
About the Acne Lesions

Last phase of Purulent acne
When the inflammation is more serious, it gradually develops yellow pus and scars easily.

Acne scar sequelae (Acne scars and Acne pits)
Sequelae of acne scars ( acne marks and acne pits )
Most acne suffers from acne scars (marks and pits), so acne may cause possible permanent scarring.

Surgical Treatments of Removal

Various treatments are used to minimize the visibility if acne scars. A dermatologist advice may be needed to define the type of acne scars and what treatment is the most suitable. Some treatments are minor and more affordable, such as:

Treatments for Acne Scars

Acne scars are the pigmentation caused by acne. With the skin's metabolism, acne scars will slowly fade and lighten, and natural desalination will take 1 to 2 years.
However, if medical measures are not adopted, the acne marks are still permanent and will not return to the color before long acne. Hanfei believes that Composite Phototherapy is currently an effective method to solve acne scars (acne marks).

Operation characteristics:
1. Effectively decompose the pigmentation, lighten and fade the acne scars area until it matches the surrounding normal skin tone.
2. Increase the collagen in the dermis, so that the shallow depressions in the area of the acne marks are no longer noticeable.
3. Improve the pores and make the skin more delicate and smooth

Treatments for Acne Pits

The acne pit is because the dermis is collapsed due to severe acne or being squeezed, and the acne pits do not automatically disappear once it is formed.
However, modern medical technology has overcome the problem of acne pits.

Dermapen Microneedling

This utilizes a device with number of minute needles perforating the skin to invoke the body’s natural healings process, promoting new skin cells

Dermapen Microneedling

The Dermapen treatment creates thousands of miniscule needle punctures in the outer layers of skin. These tiny needle pricks are precisely controlled by the Dermapen device to achieve a specifically set depth, spacing, pattern, and frequency.
In addition to diminishing both pitted and non-pitted acne scars, microneedling has been proven to show improvement in freckles, fine lines, sun spots and stretch marks.
